When you register and use Weydaa, we collect:

• Identity data: name, email address
• Contact data: phone number (optional, for verification)
• Ad data: title, description, price, photos, location (wilaya/commune)
• Connection data: IP address, date/time of connection
• Browsing data: pages visited, searches performed

Your data is used to:

• Manage your account and verify your identity
• Display and manage your ads
• Connect you with other users
• Send transactional notifications (ad approval, messages)
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
• Improve our services

Weydaa does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Your data may be transmitted to:

• Supabase — database hosting (data encrypted at rest)
• Vercel — application hosting
• Sentry — error monitoring (anonymized data)
• Resend — transactional email sending
• Competent authorities in case of legal obligation

• Account data: retained as long as the account is active
• Active ads: 60 days (renewable)
• Deleted ads: archived 30 days, then permanently deleted
• Connection logs: 90 days

In accordance with Algerian legislation, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — obtain a copy of your personal data
• Right of rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your account
• Right to object — object to certain processing

Weydaa implements technical and organizational measures to protect your data: HTTPS/TLS encryption, password hashing (bcrypt), login attempt limiting, secure authentication tokens.

Weydaa only uses functional cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the service (authentication session). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
